Please note I have fiddled around with the Fixtures by swapping the WithQuiz league matches that were to have taken place on March 19th (Wednesday before Easter) with the WIST Cup Semi Finals that were scheduled for March 26th - this is to fit in with the Stockport League Fixture list - hope this doesn't cause any problems

The Paper Charabancs of Fire set this week. Pretty popular paper is the feedback so far (12:10 am on Thursday). Kieran has gone all effusive after a few weeks of frustration:
.....and Andrew (speaking for the Pigs):
.....and at the Gateway we also found much to relish. Nevertheless we did feel a bit aggrieved at the Gordon Brown question since both teams knew him as MP for Dunfermline East and so discounted him as MP for Kirkcaldy and Cowdenbeath - little knowing that this was the new name for Dunfermline East. I thought trick questions had been outlawed. But I quibble. Another tour de force from the White Swine's sty. Oh, and by the way, having seen Barry Whitehead and his team (Dr O'Neil) walk off with the wine and choccies at the Albert Club quiz this Monday I can assure WithQuizzers that he is still very much twitching despite Round 4's implication that he had flown off with the birds to some celestial place. |

Question of the Week The vote this week (from the Pigs/Ethel match) goes to Bingo Question 29: According to Fr Megson there's nothing better than a swift Bishop's Finger to get you off at night after a hard day's grind in the pulpit - but which brewery produces Bishop's Finger Ale? Click here to see the answers to this and the rest of the week's questions and answers. |
