Ethel open up a two-point gap at the top after thumping the Opsis; the Prods rise to second; the History Men open their account - QotW is chosen by Jimmy and concerns the largest city in Europe never to have staged a Champions league match - the debate about the format of the WIST competition continues

Ethel go into the Christmas break as clear leaders in a season that's proving anybody can beat anybody else on the night - QotW is embellished with a cartoon and documents the strange love affair between a Tory minister and a northern town - Next week the much delayed Bards v Pigs fixture will be fulfilled then its a rest from WithQuizzing until January 10th - Happy Christmas and see you all in 2024!

A bonanza of a quiz sets the scene for the underdogs to put the 'overcats' to the sword in every match; Ethel remain firmly at the top but they're still not quite (mathematically) home and dry - QotW features a delightful new variation on the run-on format whereby a classical composer allows his tail to be nibbled up by a pop diva

Coronation on hold; Ethel lose and the Opsimaths win to go clear in second place; but only miraculous scorelines over the next two weeks can prevent Ethel from winning the league - QotW harks back to the last day of the old Football League Division One - Next week the draw for the Val Draper Cup Competition

Well done Ethel, the new League Champions! - Ethel squeaked home this week against the Charas to make themselves unassailable at the top of the table - also this week the Opsimaths' win confirmed them as the season's runners up - The Val Draper Cup draw has been made - QotW asks about the most influential TV show of the past 50 years

Both the Champions and the Runners up lose; Albert slip down to 6th losing to KFD; The Charas get a winning boost but not sufficient to escape the wooden spoon - QotW is all about a conversation between a national icon and a singer/songwriter - Some celebratory words for all the WithQuizzers, past and present, who keep our broadcast quizzes lively and interesting

A thriller in Ladybarn resulted in Ethel getting the better of KFD on the tiebreak to earn a Val Draper final place against the Pigs who beat the Charas; meanwhile the Plate final will be between the Prods who edged it against Albert and the History Men who knocked the Opsis for six all over the Parrswood winning by 34 points - QotW brings back memories of a 'Colchonero' who came to Manchester

The Prodigals win the WIST Champions Cup earning the right to call themselves the best quiz team either side of the Mersey; Albert win the Lowly Grail to become the 'best of the rest' - QotW chosen by Jimmy and the Prods to remind them of boring days at the office learning the regulations

Ethel do the double, lifting the Val Draper trophy after a close match at the Parrs Wood; at the Club the History Men beat the Prods to take the Plate; the Opsimaths win the 'Best Round' award with their 'Crash, Bang, Wallop' Round 8 - QotW is supremely unimpressive

2023/24 is no more - put to bed by the combined might of WithQuiz at the Albert Club; Ethel emerged as the most successful team of the season but on the night the Bards took the End of Season crown; the Question of the Season vote went to Albert's poser about Lord Chesterfield and sexual intercourse - the whole evening was given a Casablanca tinge As Time Goes By
